Alternatively please email us with your equipment list and we will provide an invoice for a deposit with the remaining due 7 days prior to the date of hire.
5. Once your order is submitted, we will review the order and send you a confirmation email. Included in your order confirmation will be pick up details or a delivery confirmation with a receipt of payment.

Product Details:
Our 10m Festoon Light strands for hire are provided with 10 x 25 watt clear warm white vintage light bulbs as standard with lower wattage and LED coloured bulbs also available. A standard non-connectable festoon strand has approximately 8m of bulbed cable with 2m of blank cable from the plug to the first bulb socket. If you need more than 8m of bulbed cable, we suggest considering a 20m festoon strand.

25 Watt Clear Warm White: This bulb provides the classic warm white vintage glow, loved by photographers and film makers for their organic warmth. When used in a 20m festoon strand you can power up to 4 x 20m runs from one standard 240v 10amp outlet. Being incandescent, this bulb type is dimmable using an external 240v dimming device.
7 Watt Clear Warm White: Much like the 25 watt option, this bulb provides the same warm white vintage glow whilst using a reduced amount of power. We recommend this type of bulb for cases where lots of festoon is being installed and the power available is limited. When used in a 20m festoon strand you can power up to 16 x 20m runs from one standard 240v 10amp outlet. Being incandescent, this bulb type is dimmable using an external 240v dimming device.
3 Watt Frosted LED Bulbs: Available in a warm white or cool white option, this bulb style is frosted (you can’t see the insides) and made from durable plastic. Being LED, 3 watts is much brighter than the incandescent 7w or 25w clear options above. Ideal for use at outdoor festivals, night markets, sporting events and more where large areas need to be lit whilst being power efficient. Due to the high brightness of the LED bulbs, we don’t recommend this option for small spaces or in areas with low ceilings. The 3 watt frosted warm white and cool white bulbs are not dimmable.
3 Watt LED Colour Controllable Bulbs: Perfect for that classic party light look, the 3 watt LED colour controllable bulbs come supplied with a remote control to customise each bulbs colour. Product Details:
Our 25m Connectable Festoon Light strands for hire are provided with 25 x 7 watt clear warm white vintage light bulbs as standard with lower wattage LED options and coloured bulbs also available. Connectable festoon is a great solution where a continuous run of festoon is required to be used. Each length comes with an adaptor on the end that simply screws into the start of the next strand.
WARNING: 25m connectable festoon is not recommended for use when using festoon poles kits if the span is more than 12 metres unsupported. For spans over 12m a festoon pole or support in the middle of the strand is required to reduce cable strain and sag. Failure to support the festoon strand appropriately can result in injury and harm to equipment and your event guests. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that adequate support is in place to ensure safety for both people and equipment.
We recommend using a rope or catenary wire attached the festoon strand to reduce sag and avoid damage to the cable caused by tension over long spans when installing with spans of more than 12m from point to point.

Product Details:
Our festoon lighting and fairy light pole hire kits are 3.2 metres high which provide enough height to still have sag in the lighting cables over long spans to comfortably clear crowd height.
The Festoon Pole hire kit for installation in soil comes with 2 star pickets that are placed into the ground creating a column which the festoon pole is then secured into using zip ties. You can use your own zip/cable ties or select the option to include them with your pole kit hire.
IMPORTANT Transport Information: Due to the 3.2m length of the lighting pole, a suitably sized vehicle will be required to transport it safely if you choose to pick up your order from our warehouse. Please measure 3.2m on or in your vehicle or trailer before arriving to collect to ensure that you can transport the equipment appropriately.
Instructions are provided at the time of delivery or pick up. Please ask our friendly team if you are unsure about the installation process and we’ll gladly assist.
We suggest using at least eight 4.8mm x 30cm zip ties per pole (3 top, 2 middle, 3 bottom) to secure the pole to the star picket column safely. Choose to have zip ties included when adding this item to your cart, provide your own or order a bulk pack here: Zip Tie 100 Pack
A Clamp and Shackle Assembly is included with each pole kit hire to safely, easily and quickly attach festoon, fairy lights and more. The clamp can slide up and down the length of the pole to easily change the clamp height.

For accurate installation of the star picket column we recommend adding the “Star Picket Driver” to your order for easier installation of star pickets in soil. Using normal hammers can take longer, damage the picket and cause the picket to insert on an unhelpful angle.
For quick removal of the star pickets, we recommend adding the “Star Picket Remover” to your order. This handy device will pull the pickets out of the ground with ease when it’s time to pack up your lighting installation.

The minimum weight limits below are for parallel (pole to pole) layouts only. If you are creating a zig zag pattern with your lighting, you will need to double the weight on the base plate. For example, a 10m zig zag means two lines are coming off one pole, totalling 20m, requiring double the weight of a single 10m run.

Our 10kg Weight Bags for hire are useful for adding temporary weight to stands, base plates or structures requiring extra stability. Otherwise known as shot bags, these flexible weights come equipped with a stitched-in belt handle for easy carrying.
This item is intended for use with our Festoon Pole and Base Plate Hire Kits, however they can be hired as individual items for other uses.
If you are using the weight bags with our festoon pole and base plate hire kits, we recommend the following weights for the spans listed below. If you are creating a zig zag pattern with your festoon, you will need to double the weight on the plate.

Product Details:
Make hammering star pickets into the ground a tad easier and more accurate with our star picket driver for hire.
Weighing in at 9.5kg, this star picket driver will assist to hammer in the star pickets provided with our Festoon Pole hire kits.
WARNING: We advise wearing hearing protection, gloves and protective footwear when using this item.
Helpful Tip: Don’t forget to add a Star Picket Remover to your hire to help you remove star pickets from the ground when your finished or if you make a mistake with the placement of your star pickets. Need to dim your festoon lighting? Our single channel festoon dimmer for hire can dim 1 x 20m festoon strand using 25 watt incandescent bulbs or up to 4 x 20m strands if using 7 watt incandescent bulbs.
This dimmer can dim up to 3 x 25m connectable festoon light strands using 7 watt incandescent bulbs. It is not suitable for use with 25m connectable festoon strands using 25 watt incandescent bulbs as it exceeds the maximum power output of the dimmer.
The maximum power output of this dimmer is 600 watts, exceeding this limit will break the dimmer resulting in replacement fees. To calculate the total power usage of the festoon you are using, multiply the wattage of each bulb by the amount of light bulb sockets in the strand. For example, a 20m festoon light strand with 20 light bulb sockets using 25 watt light bulbs equals 500 watts of total power required ( 20 Sockets x 25w Bulbs = 500 Watts). Because this is within the 600 watt limit of the dimmer, it is safe to use.
WARNING: Do not use with LED lights or LED light bulbs. This dimmer is not suitable for use with festoon using LED bulbs unless the bulbs have been clearly specified as dimmable using an external dimming device. If you attempt to dim LED items that are not dimmable, you will break the LED bulb or fixture resulting in replacement fees.

To illuminate the paper lantern from the inside, simply place over the bulb of the festoon strand or pendant light cable and clip on using the in-built hook on the paper lanterns inner frame.
Each paper lantern comes flat packed for transport with a separate wire frame which is placed inside the lantern to expand it and form its spherical shape.

Paper lanterns are used as an accessory for attachment to our pendant light and festoon lighting hire items to create a more festive feel.
To illuminate the paper lantern from the inside, simply place over the bulb of the festoon strand or pendant light cable and clip on using the in-built hook on the paper lanterns inner frame.
Each paper lantern comes flat packed for transport with a separate wire frame which is placed inside the lantern to expand it and form its spherical shape.
For a coloured lantern effect, use with a festoon light or pendant light strand fitted with one of our colour controllable LED bulbs which will provide a coloured glow from within, making the white paper lantern appear as though it was coloured like the tone produced from the light bulb within.

Need to dim your festoon lighting? Our single channel festoon dimmer for hire can dim 1 x 20m festoon strand using 25 watt incandescent bulbs or up to 4 x 20m strands if using 7 watt incandescent bulbs.
This dimmer can dim up to 3 x 25m connectable festoon light strands using 7 watt incandescent bulbs. It is not suitable for use with 25m connectable festoon strands using 25 watt incandescent bulbs as it exceeds the maximum power output of the dimmer.
The maximum power output of this dimmer is 600 watts, exceeding this limit will break the dimmer resulting in replacement fees. To calculate the total power usage of the festoon you are using, multiply the wattage of each bulb by the amount of light bulb sockets in the strand. For example, a 20m festoon light strand with 20 light bulb sockets using 25 watt light bulbs equals 500 watts of total power required ( 20 Sockets x 25w Bulbs = 500 Watts). Because this is within the 600 watt limit of the dimmer, it is safe to use.
WARNING: Do not use with LED lights or LED light bulbs. This dimmer is not suitable for use with festoon using LED bulbs unless the bulbs have been clearly specified as dimmable using an external dimming device.
