10kg Weight Bag useful for adding temporary weight to stands, base plates or structures requiring extra stability.

This item is intended for use with our Festoon Pole/Solid Surface Base Plate kits.
We recommend the following weights for the spans listed below…

0 to 5m Span of Standard Festoon
- 1 Bag/10kg Per Base Plate

5 to 10m Span of Standard Festoon
- 2 Bags/20kg Per Base Plate

10m to 15m Span of Standard Festoon
- 4 Bags/40kg Per Base Plate

15m to 20m Span of Standard Festoon
- 6 Bags/60kg Per Base Plate

WARNING: Failure to stabilise a festoon pole base plate using at least the minimum recommended amount of weight bags can result in serious injury and/or property damage. It is the responsibility of the hiring customer to ensure that there is an adequate amount of weight placed on base plates to prevent pole movement or toppling over of the pole kit. Brisbane Festoon Hire accepts no responsibility for damages to property or injuries to people due to equipment that is hired and self installed by the hire customer. It is the responsibility of the hire customer to provide safety to all guests and/or audiences when hiring and self installing equipment.

Duration of Hire:

The hire rate listed is for a single day event, allowing for pick up or delivery the day on the day of, or the day prior to the event, and return the day after the event date. For a weekend event, pick up is available on a Friday with return on Monday. If extended hire periods or alternative pick up or delivery times are required, please contact us.

Payment Options:

Credit Card: If you are placing your booking online, full payment will be required at the check out via credit card. Once the order is submitted, a transaction receipt will be sent to your nominated email address. Once our team reviews your order, you will also be sent a detailed booking invoice, listing the products and services that you have paid for, for your records.

Invoice/Deposit: If you do not wish to pay in full upfront, please submit an online quote request with the items and quantities required and we will email you with an invoice requiring a non-refundable 25% deposit to reserve the equipment for your booking date. The remaining amount will be due in full 7 days prior to the date of hire.

Order Confirmation:

Once your order is submitted, one of our friendly event lighting specialists will review your order, making sure that we have all the necessary details before sending you an email to confirm that the booking has been made, reserving the equipment for the requested date.


Out of Stock: In the extremely rare event that the equipment you book is not available for your requested date, we will contact you to discuss alternative options or provide a full refund.
If you need to make alterations to the details of your order, please contact us as soon as possible, to ensure the required updates are made.
