Our Festoon and Fairy Light Poles are 3.2 metres high which provides enough height to still have sag in the cable over long spans to comfortably clear crowd height.
The Festoon Pole comes with 2 star pickets that are placed into the ground which the festoon pole is then secured to using zip ties. (Zip ties not included). Instructions are provided at the time of delivery or pick up.
We suggest using atleast six 4.8mm x 30cm zip ties per pole (3 top, 1 middle, 2 bottom) to secure them to the ground stakes/star pickets safely. Provide your own, or add them to your order to be included at pick up or with delivery by clicking here: Zip Tie 100 Pack
A Clamp and Shackle Assembly is included with each pole kit to safely, easily and quickly attach festoon, fairy lights and more. The clamp can slide up and down the length of the pole to easily change the attachment height.

For accurate installation we recommend adding the “Star Picket Driver” to your order for easier installation of star pickets in soil. Using normal hammers can take longer, damage the picket and cause the picket to insert into the ground on an unhelpful angle.
For quick removal of star pickets, we recommend adding the “Star Picket Remover” to your order. This handy device will lever your pickets out of the ground without damaging the picket or causing strain injuries.

It is the responsibility of the hire customer to provide safety to all guests and/or audiences when hiring and installing equipment.
Transport Information: Due to the length of this item, a suitably sized vehicle will be required to transport it safely if you choose to pick up from our warehouse. Please measure 3.2m on/in your vehicle before arriving to collect to ensure that you can transport the item/s appropriately.

Hire Duration: The hire rate listed is for a single day event, allowing pick up the day prior and return the day after the event date. For a weekend event, pick up is available on a Friday with return on Monday. If extended hire periods or alternative pick up/drop off times are required, please contact us for a quote.
Delivery: If you require your equipment to be delivered prior to your event and collected once your hire is finished, please select “send me a quote for delivery” during the checkout process. Once your order is submitted we will send you a quote for delivery if requested.
To book this item, simply...
1. Select the options and quantity required and click "Add to Hire Cart"
2. At the checkout enter the booking date along with the requested pick up and return dates.
3. Pay via credit card using our simple online portal to lock in the hire and reserve the equipment.
Order Confirmation: Once your order is submitted, one of our friendly event lighting specialists will review the order, making sure that the equipment is available for the requested dates and will send you an email to confirm along with the pick up details if you are not having your order delivered.
Out of Stock: In the extremely rare event that the equipment you book is not available for your booking date, we will contact you to discuss alternative options or provide a refund.
Please Note: If you do not wish to pay in full upfront, please submit an online quote request with the items and quantities required and we will email you with an invoice requiring a 25% deposit to reserve the equipment for your booking date. The remaining amount will be due in full 7 days prior to the date of hire.
